artist / mother
Natalie Lucie is an artist whose work delves into themes of healing, transformation, motherhood and the human need to create. Through her music and writing, she invites others to explore their own journeys and the power of self-expression as a tool for connection and growth.
After hitting walls with the traditional music industry in her twenties, Natalie stepped away from her creative dreams, feeling frustrated and disillusioned. But motherhood reignited her passion for music, awakening a desire to create again. Determined to reclaim her voice, she embarked on a slow but determined journey, teaching herself music production. Her first EP 'Easy to Love' was released in 2018 followed by the single 'Let Myself Be' in 2022 which received positive reviews from independent music press including Clout
and 'Dreamer Tied Down' in 2023. In late 2024 she released her first collaborative track 'This All Ends Here' with the independent musician/composer MinusCube.
Her debut album "The Light" was almost entirely self-produced and recorded at home during stolen moments across a period of almost four years. Scheduled for release in June 2025, the album's first single, "Save the World" was released on January 29, 2025 to positive reviews in indie music press (including plastic magazine, Lock magazine, York Calling and more) followed by the vulnerable 'Glue', a song for cycle-breaking mothers and the uplifting 'Chase the Sun'.
Beyond music, she has been sharing her thoughts and poems on her substack and hopes to release a book of poetry that echoes the themes of her songs—healing, motherhood, transformation and belief that creativity is a necessity.
